Stories that read you to sleep

Some nights the rain is enough. Other nights your head keeps going — replaying a conversation, planning tomorrow, wondering about that email — and what actually helps is someone reading you something gentle, about nothing very important, until you stop following along.

So we taught Mindfall to read to you.

It winds down with you

Every story is read the way you'd read to someone who's nearly asleep. It starts warm, then settles — a little slower, a little lower, a bit softer each paragraph. The pauses get longer. By the end the voice is barely more than a murmur in the rain, which, honestly, is where you'll be too.

And it plays right on top of your scene. The night train keeps rattling along, the fire keeps going, and your sleep timer fades the story out with everything else.

Pick a voice

Every story comes in four voices. Two you'll get to know, and two that belong only to that story — blends we made just for it. Try a few. Some nights call for a different voice.

It remembers where you drifted off

You'll fall asleep partway through. That's sort of the whole idea. Mindfall remembers roughly where you were, so next time you can carry on, start over, or jump to the bit you still remember. (We won't tell anyone you missed the ending three nights running.)

Or read along

If you like following the words, there's a read-along. It dims the scene a little, shows the page being read, and turns it softly when the voice gets to the next one. There's even a quiet page-turn sound, which you can switch off if it's too cozy for you. Is that possible? Asking for us.

What's on the shelf

We're starting small, with a few kinds of evening:

  • Journeys — a sleeper train heading north through the rain.
  • Cozy places — a library after closing time; a lighthouse keeper's last round.
  • For children — a little owl who says goodnight to the whole wood.
  • Drift-off facts — a slow, true history of salt. Nothing to follow, nothing to remember.
  • Meditations — a gentle body scan with the singing bowl and the breathing circle.

A good handful are free for everyone, and more arrive as they're written. Mindfall Plus opens up the whole shelf, and lets you keep any story for offline.

To find them: open Mindfall, tap Modes, then Stories. Get comfy. We'll take it from here.

Rain on the window, a story read low, and nothing to do but drift.
